The Northwich Vision:
The Northwich Vision is a significant project in the regeneration of Northwich as vibrant place to live and work. We will be following the development of the scheme closley and keep you updated.
Riversdale Bridge:
We are delighted that Riversdale Bridge has secured funding which will re-establish a vital link, improve the cycle network and cut significant distances for pedestrians and school children travelling across the ward. We are even more pleased that the preferred low level bridge option has been agreed.
Community Forums:
Some residents had questioned the future of the local area meetings that had been held at the memorial hall in Northwich town center. The new authority is launching Community Forums. These will meet four times a year and will give residents the opportunity to bring issues to their councillors in a similar format to the old area meetings. They will try to be more local than the previous meetings, concentrating on a smaller area. Northwich West will meet with Abbey ward and Northwich East and Shakerly will meet separately. These dates will be advertised on the Council website and on this site as well.
